Thomas Dolby T-Shirt SET 2by *PaulSizer

I found out that Thomas Dolby ("She Blinded Me With Science"), one of my all time musicians, was holding a contest for his forum fans to design a t-shirt for a one-off gig he's doing in London this February. Well, since I'm as much of a synthpop geek as I am a design geek, I decided to throw my hat into the ring and submit a few designs.

Here's my "RETRO DECO" set, which is more of a mix of old and new elements, like Dolby's music. I made the color set warmer for a metal/leather/wood kind of palette.

We'll see if it gets picked as the winner...

I liked the colors on the other design but I really like the whole design on this one much more.

I like! The colors go good on both t-shirt colors and I like the retro-theme. I'd wear that with out even knowing the band. XD Tell me, when will you design a shirt with someone beating up Hitler?

That's based off the cover of an old 45 rpm single sleeve of "She Blinded Me With Science", which had an illustration of a pair of glasses with one lens.
