The "ironic" concept of a cute girl mechanic feels a bit stale... but I do love this character design, the color in this piece, and the angle. All the little details are nice, and the border and title are cute. :nod:

I would agree: the "spunky girl who gets her hands dirty" trope is well mined; enough so that my first comic series LITTLE WHITE MOUSE's lead character Loo was just that! I still think that the girl mechanic kind of character can still be a good character, but like any trope, if it's over-used, it gets predictable and boring. My pet peeve is when the girl mechanic is used to say "Whoa, what's a GIRL doing working on machines? That's CRAZY?" Who cares, really? Writers who use them in that way are just being lazy and (gasp) a little bit sexist, yeah?
