Anyway, as thanks for her efforts to get my work to a larger audience, I decided to show my appreciation by doing some fan art for her ongoing work in progress SAND DANCE.

Xuelian has been working really hard on her art and story, and her progress has been amazing over the last year. I especially like the level of detail she has been putting into the concept and look of her two lead characters, Ceru the owl prince and Eirendi the badger god's daughter. Her pencil rendering and computer colors are getting more and more expressive each drawing, so I took on the challenge of trying to emulate the feel of her characters in my own style. It was tough, but I'm pretty happy with the results.
