Thomas Dolby THE SPEED OF SOUND Cover
Got my contributor's copy of THE SPEED OF SOUND by 80's synth pop star Thomas Dolby, with whom I've worked on his last couple of projects.
Really happy with how the actual printed book looks, inside and out. Out nationally in the US on October 11th!

Cues and Tattoos Tribal Belly Dance Festival 2017
Poster created for CUES & TATTOOS, a tribal belly dance festival held in Seattle, Washington. They contacted me after seeing my work here on DeviantArt and commissioned this piece for promotion of the event. This will also be the design for the event's t-shirt.

Finally got a chance to read READ(!)(drool) over BPM at a public library here in Paterson New Jersey, Paul! The art is so outstanding one could almost hear the beats in one's head. No stress over long intervals between posts; if that time was spent on stories and ART like BPM, well then who's complaining? :)

Well, thank you so much for the good words on BPM! Great to hear you found it in a library; libraries are a strong ally to an independent small publisher like me.
I'm really glad you felt the artwork transmitted the vibe of the music I was writing about; it's so powerful to me, I always feel I'm not doing the tunes justice.

Yeah, I do sometimes get conflicted with my book output. While I'm years between books, that time is filled to the gills with working with really creative people and companies who challenge me in new ways. So when I do get to my next book, hopefully I'll be able to level up and make people's wait worth it. ; )
